One Damn Hot Flower

Apr 2, 2011

I like the simplicity of this flower. Its red petals with the white and green pollen grains. I would admit i was mesmerized with its beauty and color. It just seems so perfect a flower to me. This should be growing in beautifully decorated pots to make it more attractive and not on a vacant lot near the road.

Yes, it grows on a vacant lot near the road. And you know what is more sadder? It is also close to the garbage drums that waste managers get thrice every week. The drum stinks and it takes a whole lot of power to get near them lol.

The good thing about it though it grows close to the putrid garbage drums, is it literally beautifies the small spot where it grows. And if you are driving and you get to see this pretty damn hot flower, it will require a second look to verify if you just saw what you saw! One damn hottie, eh?

Colorful Plastic Glasses

Feb 11, 2011

Last month, i received a new year's gift from the computer shop owner where i bought my laptop computer. She gave me two sets of colorful plastic glasses wrapped beautifully in a net like bag. Since we still have usable cups and glasses at home, I put them in a drawer and decided to keep it for future use. I almost forgot them until i rummaged the boxes and drawers that were left in oblivion.

When it was handed to me by the shop owner, i didn't even have the slightest idea that they can make a good subject. But when i saw them the second time around, there was a loud BOOM! An explosion that says "grab your camera and start shooting". I put them on the coffee table and arranged them in the best possible position an amateur photographer can do lol. So, here they are.

It simply felt amazing

Feb 9, 2011

We were told after breakfast that we will be visiting one of the famous waterfalls in Nakon Nayok. I readied myself and the camera for i know nature will be waiting for the flickering of flashes. I charged the battery for a few minutes and hurried for the most comfortable seat on the bus.

Both pics looked the same, but take a closer look :)
We circled looking for it that took 15 more minutes of our precious time. I got confused and impatient so i asked a friend who speak Thai. She told me that our driver was not familiar with place and was having trouble locating where the waterfall was.

When we arrived at the location, i was mesmerized by the thunder sound of the falling and running water. Honestly, It took my breath away and removed all my exasperation. I went down into ladder like thing and touched its cool water. You know what? It simply felt amazing.

DewDrop

Jan 21, 2011

It was a cool early morning in Nakon Nayok when I decided to capture my so called "morning moments". When i went out, i was greeted by different species of beautiful flowers and tall, robust trees. Yes they were beautiful, tall ,and robust. However, only one in particular caught my attention. A dewdrop!

I was not able to get a shot of the bee on the apple like fruit grrr. It flew right away seconds after it set foot. I was able to captured a good angle of the ant though that looks like drinking the dew. The red fruit with all the greens made itself and the dewdrop a real mouthful.

A visit to the Grand Palace

Jan 20, 2011

The Grand Palace in Bangkok is just one of the many tourist spots in the city and to the entire kingdom of Thailand. The temples inside are like gold, shimmering from the ground and up to the sky. Each one has its own distinct features.

No shorts are allowed for men or sleeveless blouses for women. Even tourists are of no exception. Temples are sacred for Thai people and not following so would mean disrespect.

There are several tourists of different nationalities wanting to witness the magnificent Thai architectural style. They were probably there because we shared the same feeling. A shared admiration to its beauty and the priceless experience being there.
